Tioga County Historical Society Museum just received a lovely Farnham-style accelerator spinning wheel from 1825.   This is a patented piece.  It was kindly donated by Andrea Myklebust, who is a spinning wheel collector/devotee.    Andrea donated the wheel to TCHS after she painstakingly restored it.    She is pictured to the right with the donation.    Our thanks for her great generosity.
