The largest space in the Society building has been designated to explain the history of Tioga County.  Many large collection items such as the 1913 Monarch motorcycle, a penny-farthing bicycle and IBM computer processor that was used on many Space shuttle missions will help illustrate the county's rich history.  Smaller objects are displayed on a rotating basis allowing a larger portion of the Society's collection can be seen by the public.

A Native American exhibit , outlines the history of the first Americans in what became Tioga County.  Many artifacts, drawings, and pictures illustrate the life of these first peoples on the Susquehanna.

Highlights from our collection include a c. 1913 Monarch motorcycle made in Owego, early 19th century spinning wheels and reels made by the Farnham family of Tioga, several hundred images from Mathew Brady's studios, folk art portraits, an extensive genealogy collection, and manuscript and photographic materials.
