Civil War Training Camp                 $5.00/student

Enlist in a Civil War regiment for a day of fun.

Join your class as you engage in real drills, learn etiquette, try hard tack, and more.

Iroquois Culture                               $5.00/student

Submerse students in Iroquois culture.  Program will include living history presentation, food, displays, games, and more.

Work                                                 $5.00/student

Discover what work was like in the 19th century.  Once finished working students will receive 19th century wages to spend in our general store!

One Room School House              $5.00/student

Join your teacher, Miss Stern, for a day of learning in a one room school house.  Enjoy 19th century lessons, games, and lunch in our school house recreation.

Run with the Dinosaurs                   $5.00/student

Introduce students to the lives of dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures, as the museum comes to life.

Underground Railroad                     $5.00/student

Witness the escape of slaves through the underground railroad, ask living historians questions, and more in this exciting program.

Liberty and Justice for All               $5.00/student

From local leaders to national figures, women’s suffrage will be the key feature of this field trip program.

Meet the Museum                            FREE

A free program to introduce students to the local museum.  Program will consist of a guided tour, hands on activity based on current exhibits, and more.

Apprentice Program

July 12th-26th  12-4 pm

Free

Ages 7th-12th grade

A free program open to 10 students in Broome and Tioga counties. 

Students must fill out an application.  Students select positions

and over the period of 2 weeks, will create, market, and implement

a museum exhibit.  Program concludes with an exhibit reception.

Theatre Camp

July 28th-August 2nd

$50.00/student

Ages K-6th/7th-12th  (K-6 group meets 12-4pm, 7-12 group 4-8pm)

Students explore the various techniques of acting and performance

Through scene study, monologue study, and exercises.  The camp

concludes with a production.

Archeaology Camp

July 7th-11th  12-4 pm

$50.00/student

Ages K-12th grade

Learn different techniques of digging, will have a mini dig

With findings produced.

Living History Camp

August 4th-8th  12-4 pm

$50.00/student

Ages K-12th grade

Students explore the various meanings of living history.  Participants

Are expected to research and create a persona from American

History and portray this character on living history day.  All participants

will also participate in a civil war boot camp and Victorian finishing

School.

Make a Movie Camp

August 11th-16th

$50.00/student

Ages K-6th/7th-12th (K-6 meets 12-4pm, 7-12 meets 4-8pm)

Students study and learn various film making techniques then select

positions, write, market and produce a film.  The camp will culminate with

a movie premier for all participants.
